This guide requires a user within a Group with a Manager group Role. If you don't have this role, you will NOT be able to make the necessary changes.
Group Managers can manage users in their respective groups. This includes adding users, editing their roles, and removing users.
Requirements
- The target user must have an active account and have previously logged into Drupal.
- You will need to know the JHED ID of the target user. Usually this is the same as their email address.
Roles
The following roles are available to Group users:
- Editor - Can create new content within the group. (NO publishing)
- Moderator - Can manage content (publishing included) within the group, and add or remove pages from existing menus.
- Manager - Can create menus, manage content, and users; they can also edit some group configurations within their group. (Currently, this role is not available for Group Users)
